These terms cover ranswake.vercel.app and the waitlist on it. They do not sell you a copy of the game.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist asks for an email so you can be told when a public Windows build is available. It is not a pre-order, a reservation, or a promise of a ship date, a price, or a store. The game may change, slip, or stay private.
The site
Screenshots, copy, and telemetry on this site describe a work in progress. They are for information. Do not treat them as a specification of the final build.
Ownership
Rán's Wake, the name, the art, the writing, and the source in the public repository remain the property of Georges Duplessy. The repository being public does not give you a license to redistribute the game, its art, or a modified build as your own. Fair-use commentary (reviews, videos, write-ups) is fine.
Your conduct
Do not use the waitlist form to submit other people's addresses, to flood the endpoint, or to probe it. Automated scraping that ignores robots.txt is not allowed.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is. There is no warranty that it will stay up, that a signup will be stored if the backend is offline, or that a download will follow. If the form cannot save your address it will say so; you can email gduplessy@gmail.com instead.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Georges Duplessy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or from joining the waitlist.
Privacy
How emails are handled is in the privacy notice.
Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top will update. Continued use of the site after that is acceptance of the new terms.
